Nor do I really, I've only started learning stuff but I managed to service my bike today..

Changed the spark plug
Topped up coolant
Topped up oil
lubricated the gearbox a bit because clutch cable was recently replaced
Replaced battery, old one was FLAT!
degreased the whole engine which took ages..
lubricated the chain
bled the rear brake and put in new brake fluid (it isn't working yet, d'oh!)
checked the air filter, it needs replacing

Basically just cleaned the bike up and made sure stuff was working the way it should be.. A friend found the service manual for me too which helps heaps.

Buy her a push bike and see what she says/picks up and throws at you

Nice one Graham! I picked that it was bike as soon as I read it but alas I wasn't here before you revealed it How big is the engine? Is it one of 250cc bikes that you hear whining around the place or is a 600cc that will fly? My uncle is into bikes and he has a 900cc Yamaha, and one of his makes has a 600cc Ninja. I love the idea of bikes but no female in my life understands it so Im not allowed to get one Im just glad you didnt get one of those stupid cruisers, I hate those things, overly loud and no where near as cool as a sports bike.

My mate just bought a 2nd hand WRX and wants to go cruising with me. Im fairly sure thats not allowed, a VRX and a WRX together? Unfortunately he will probs beat me performance wise so I cant actually talk sh!t to him....

its definitely a 250cc or less cuz he is just gettin his license and max u can ride with the first class of bike license is 250cc.... and thanks david hope to bring the numbers up for WA and get the community more close knit.... just gna be a bit hard this month cuz have to worry bout exams but will do my best

Yeh WA seems to have a growing number of members but not many active ones. I probably wont make the Sunday cruise. Everytime I bring it up my gf gives me the cold shoulder...the stupid thing is she wants to go for a drive to Mandurah anyway so maybe I'll secretly time it so that I just "happen" to see you all on the blacktop

I'm guessing uni exams? Which uni are you at? I just graduated from UWA in September (July was my last exams) so I know how lame exam time can be! But enjoy the time at uni because I feel lost without it lol (sad I know)

hahahahah yeah i m at uwa atm doing commerce.... gayness is all i can say screwed up last sem so needa bring my avg back up.... and yeah i know after uni its sad bumming ard "tryin" to find work... i still work during hols..... i know i will nvr ever work as an accountant really crap boring and thankless job.... what did u do at uwa?

I wouldn't be surprised if we were in some classes together. Man it is tough to get a job atm though, apparently the average applicant to the big 4 accounting firms had a WAM of 85. 85!!! thats stupidly high for an average person...

thats ridiculous but nah man they dont just look at ure WAM well u cant do ridiculously bad tho they also look at ure character blah blah so just be ureself u should be fine.... sorry i but I HATE accounting with a passion now and respect dad for what he does lol.... next job this hols is either at fund manager's or a bank here or singapore.... but yeah jobs now are really hard 2 come by....

Yeh, my WAM isnt bad, but its not 85 Im only doing accounting to get my CA then Im outta there! tbh most of the jobs I've looked at aren't even accounting they are random govt jobs. The dream growing up was always to work in Japan but that was before I became attached So Im hoping for the next best thing, working for a Japanese firm here in Perth.

hahahahah saame for me mine was to work anywhere and everywhere then got attached then had to prepare a base back in singapore where she used to stay then i broke up n now n free again ahahahah so after that figured always hold plans for the long term and chge em closer to the date.... wat r ure majors tho.... mine is Financial accounting, investment finance and corporate finance....

I did Financial and managerial accounting, Asian Studies and Japanese. Haha I sometimes wish I had freedom again, I started going out with her when I was 17 so never hit the clubs as a single man, but then I just think about it and I realise that for a bit of fun its not worth losing a great girl

yeah but meh after i broke up was sad but then had my car to cheer me up the day i broke up with her 2 days later joined ccj n havnt stopped modding since.... but after this i m done.... needa save up for the RA or if i m patient EVO....
