You went past my house or Graham's? If you went past mine the car was most likely in the garage, my mum's car has now been relegated to the outside :P

Keep us posted if there is a cruise on Sunday guys! Good night all :)

Lets hope this one goes better than the last cruise :P

I'll will try and make it but will have to negotiate with the mrs so not likely

Then I shall get the flash tune! Didn't want to get it and then have it flashed over like zock did!

Whats this all about!?!?!? Im still trying to decide whether I want to get the ecu flashed as soo many people have advised against it for warranty purposes...Did zock have his flashed then the dealer loked at it during a service? Did they know he had flashed it? With so many people on here doing their own services I haven't heard of anybody that has had to try and make a claim with a flashed ecu...

there isnt any issue with the flash tunes.... mitsu cant pick it up and i have serviced my car several times alrdy and the flash tune is still on.... frankly its the best bang for buck mod out there.... but ures is a 2.4 which RPW is looking for to test n fine tune the 2.4 specific tune.... go have a chat with David from RPW and make a decision from there cuz ultimately its ure car so u make the any decisions regarding it...

Im not doubting the quality of the work done by RPW, it is purely a matter of warranty. I asked David about it a while back when I went in there and he said the same thing as you, that they wont be able to tell. I have since spoken to a few people and they all said not to do it. Actually the guy who serviced my car told me a story about a client of his who owned a pajero which was just out of warranty when something went wrong and the whole engine needed replacing (he said approx $20K worth of work). Mitsu actually pitched in some of the cost (even though it was out of warranty). This gives me confidence that they are jerks who will weasel out of anything.

As for whether they would be ok with a tune if they found out...?? I doubt it :P As you said, I need to make a decision...

yeah i know anyway u can always reverse it back to normal but of course there will be traces.... mitsu would have to find a really big fault in ure car to overhaul and check every little bit of data in ure ecu to find out but yeah its all up 2 u no one is gna force u to do it....

hah, I wish I had a skyline :P

It isn't quite as powerful as a skyline, but would probably keep up with one.. not sure if it would beat one though.

It should beat my Lancer though, maybe :S

Oh, and congratulations to our new mods, Rahul and Matt.
