This is my Hobby. The first pic is us in full flight a few years ago now. I am the one sitting in the silly seat! (otherwise known as the co-driver, or Ballast!!)
This photo is the result of a component failure (rear tyre totally delaminated) at about 140 Km/h dring an event. (closed roads CAMS permitted etc etc.) This was in 2009. To this day, I cant remember how many times we went over. It was at least 4! (we think!) I do remember that the thing did its first three quarters of a roll in the air, and then landed pretty hard on the LHS rear C pillar.
A testament to the construction of the car is that we both walked away from the wreck with little more than shoulder stiffness, from where the harnesses held us in!
Other hobbies include Music, computers, work, 4 wheeling and camping.
cheers
