WTB Tweeter Brackets for ES

Postby dannyboi » Mon Sep 06, 2010 10:37 pm

Hi people,

I'm after a pair of tweeter brackets for the ES tweeter housing. I have OEM tweeters which need to be secured.

Cheers,
Danny

most tweeters will screw into the standard or rockford tweeter covers. here are mine with a simple metal bracket then screwed into the RF covers i recieved today off FizyMo

edit: mine are wired upto the crossovers that came with my RF splits so they dont use the standard plug for wiring..

I noticed that someone had got hold of some plugs in another thread, but I'm not sure if they worked. I want to avoid soldering altogether, so that's why I'm after plug-and-play ones.

BUMP.

Need brackets as per first post.

Makeshift brackets aren't that secure, and probably won't last too long either :P

Maybe try and see if you can source the housing from a wrecker? Outlander models share the same brackets for the tweeters from memory.

Yeah that might be an option. It's just so annoying how hard it is to source specific plastic bits for the car.
