Thanks for the help guys.
So looking at that list, it looks like 31mm for map and dome; whilst it's 28mm for the boot?

Yeah it's technically 28mm for the boot, but a 31mm fits in just the same and 31mm are more plentiful than the 28mm...

Bought the 8 SMD one from the above link as it does look larger.

I also ordered some 6 SMD ones from HK off ebay for the map lights.

With the flickering, is it constant or just for a short period of time after turning off? If it doesn't affect the battery or other components, then I guess that's alright.

I guess the worse case would be to replace the LEDs with the original bulbs.

ETACs is probably using some sort of pulsing to dim the light to conserve battery power or some shit like that. if it were a filament bulb they react slow to changes in current/voltage so you won't notice it really, LEDs however are much more sensitive to current/voltage changes.
