LED SMD replacements for interior lights

Yeah it's technically 28mm for the boot, but a 31mm fits in just the same and 31mm are more plentiful than the 28mm...

nah thats crap, i put a 31mm in. but i will be taking that out soon and putting a 1.2m strip of LED's. If you unplug the white Lamp housing in the boot your will see you can use spade crimp lugs to connect, i'll post up pics when the LED strip arrives

In that case, I'll just grab the SMDs for the map and dome light. Then I'll wait and see how your LED strip goes

are but are they brighter then the 8?? just because there is more doesnt neccessarily mean brighter. The 8 SMDs are bigger than the 16

Bought the 8 SMD one from the above link as it does look larger.

I also ordered some 6 SMD ones from HK off ebay for the map lights.

With the flickering, is it constant or just for a short period of time after turning off? If it doesn't affect the battery or other components, then I guess that's alright.

I guess the worse case would be to replace the LEDs with the original bulbs.

ETACs is probably using some sort of pulsing to dim the light to conserve battery power or some shit like that. if it were a filament bulb they react slow to changes in current/voltage so you won't notice it really, LEDs however are much more sensitive to current/voltage changes.
