Got some decals for my wheels, 3rd brake light overlay vinyl.

Odd thing, my agreed value has gone down from 35,000 to 28,100 and the premium hasn't even moved!!

Why did u insure for $40,000, it's only a VRX?!?!

same well from 40,000 down to 27,000

I really cant complain since I actually bought the car for around 29.5k - but for the first year insured it $35k as that was the going rate for a new VRX RRP so didn't want to be under insured....

So really my car goes down from 29.5 to 28.1 that a "depreciation" on paper of around $1400.... still. I should add all the mods to it tho. Still shirty that my premium has not gone down, still under finance, i hear that pumps up the premium tho.... should be paid off hopefully middle of next year. I should ask them when i change my CTP over to them as well....

I am in the same boat as you Pete, dam rego papers / green slip lol ( albeit for our other CE Lancer ).

Insurance is more expensive if you have finance, and even more depending on the type of finance in some places.

I would shop around, our VRX was insured for $36k when new and $34k the second year - agreed value of course. Premium went down $60 odd as well to about $830. One positive about turning 25!! Woot.

My driving history is relatively clean. Only been rear ended once, not my fault - guy was on his phone and I was stopped at the Harbour Bridge toll booths and just ploughed into me.
Um major damage to driver side of vehicle at a car park. No notice left.
Oh and a negligent driving thing almost 13 years ago or so.... since then no speeding fines or demerit points.

Mine's ready to go in the trash. The key ring is a bloody heavy nugget. The photo frame, as if I'd bother displaying that around my place! The vouchers have expired and the cleaning cloth, whilst nice, I have my autoglym products.
