jamie885: No that's not possible. The only way an iPhone can connect to a Mitsubishi Lancer's audio switch controller on the steering based on stock OEM parts is if you have an MMCS in the car.

Sorry should have explained myself a little better.
If im correct, the activ had a voice command button on the steering wheel.
What I want to be able to do is hit the button say next song and have it change the track.
This should be possible IF when you press the voice command button on the steering wheel it brings up the voice command option on the iPhone.

I will post this link to a list from elsewhere , but most of the phones on the list are old models , can anyone come up with a updated list

I can't be assed right now, but I did provide a link earlier in this thread from Johnson Controls (the people that make the BT unit) that has a list off "compatible" phones and their level of compatability. Of course the list is limited to handsets they have tested, so more recent units may not appear for a while.....
