HELP regarding cleaning window + windscreen!

Hello guys,
I have just recently purchased 2008 lancer from a private seller.
When washing the car, I noticed that there are a few "water like stains" on the windows and windscreens that doesnt come off even after washing the car.
It looked something like water marks that has been left to dry.
I have heard from a friend that those are actually fungus?
Tried using Meguiar's gold class car wash shampoo and NXT generation glass cleaner but still doesnt come off!

Any help/advice would be much appreciated!

On the windows are you sure its a stain and not the actual tint (my factory tint already has small pockets -.-, im going to complain)

Otherwise try some bug and tar remover (dont over do it) then wash it off with some warm water, that should work if its a stain.

Hey Rendy,

some warm water should get them off, maybe even some fairly hard rubbing with a sponge/cloth to get them off.. if the water/dust has dried on the windscreen it could be a challenge to get off but it should still come off

thoes marks are called pitting, i have no idea how to fix it,

Blackey, Hmm i'll try to visit some auto workshop around if graham's method doesn't work.

And maybe i'll give Spot-x Hard water stain & spot remover and autoglym glass polish as shot too.
But I heard Spot-x are kinda harsh on the glass (leave light scratches) while autoglym doesnt really remove tough stains.
What do you guys think?
Anyone ever tried these products?

Yep, probably pitting... you can get glass polishing kits online that are also designed to take out minor scratches.

Sort of related question:
I managed to create some fine scratches on my headlights after accidentally wiping some dust out from the corners when wiping them down. Is there some simple way to get them out?
I was thinking of using Meguiar's PlastX, although I don't know if that's for more severe scratches.

It was a chamois cloth. I was wiping the headlights down after rinsing them, but picked up some dirt from the corners and ended up with fine scratches.

I'll probably head to Autobarn and ask to see what they have on offer.
