By this afternoon he was getting a qoute from the local dealer for a new RA inclunding the 20" rims & Khumo tyres it was fitted with when we bought the car :D

I was allowed to get my Injen UICP & EVO BOV but that was about it,
Roof caved from side impact, but if the guardrail wasn't there may have ended up rolling down the embankment

Had a ball in K.L but now back to reality(& the cold mornings)

Hey Ross,

REally good to hear you are close to sorting everything out with insurance and a new RA could soon be on the way :D !. My car was written off less than 2 weeks ago and it has been a stressful time. Best of luck and can't wait to see your new car and be back on the road.

Cold mornings? In WA?

Sorry, I just had to. :P

Bad luck on the crash and all but good on QBE. I'm sure you'll love the replacement just as much if not more.

Well after 5 long frustrating weeks, finally picked up the new RA yesterday morning, had a few hassles with insurance taking their time & then colour choice became very very limited (next shipment to WA 12 weeks) so picked silver.
Has been fitted with a set of 20'' Verde Kaos rims in Gloss black/chrome shod with 235/30/20 all paid for by insurance.
Looks pretty darn good But really needs lowering now to set it off.
Will order new turbo back exhaust next week ( again will be paid for by insurance) The new car overall just feels better on the road then the old one so pretty happy with it
:P

Good to hear it worked out. Seems to be the reaction most people have said going from the 08 to 10 models. Seems to be a bit tighter and better organised. Nothing wrong with silver mate.....better than nothing for 12 more weeks. :)

That is good news Ross.

I bet your wife will not let you drive her new one.

In the end you at fault in the accident? If so what effect has it had on your cost and excess.

I cant wait to see the pictures of the new car.
