Really? I disagree... the interior looks the same as the previous Altis (my cousin has one in Malaysia)... and to be honest the only thing which really strikes me as similar is the way the air conditioning controls are three knobs- but you could argue that was in Subaru's Impreza/other cars sharing similar interiors from 5+ years ago (before Lancer came out). What would usually be a cue for a rip off would be if they tried to mimick the dash strip in our car and how it sets everything out.

Hmm yeah, seems not much originality is left when it comes to the Japanese, the Europeans & Italians a miles ahead with design & style.
I think the the Corolla & Kizashi centre console is more borrowed from the Impreza.
Though the instrument binnacle their using for the Kizashi is very similar to our Lancers.

Either way, Lancers could have a nicer interior...
I seriously don't understand what Mitsu was thinking.
I mean they could have spend a little more like $500 in interior
and charge us like what 1k more?
a Win-Win situation
Not that I'm not having fun modifying the interior

Lancer -> Accord Euro -> M3
I think the Lancer interior layout works ok, but I cant forgive them for using such crap quality plastics! They scratch so easily & have a hollow feel in some places.
Have been reading up on the new Kizashi & apparently they have a premium interior compared to some others in that class, take note Mitsu.

I thought the Lancer interior wasn't too bad- although not quite sure why but the Evo/RA do look a lil different to the ES. Or maybe it's all in the mind with the colour of trim.
On another note, the Kizashi has a very interesting name. I saw it on a poster coming back from city on Parra Rd. I wouldn't mind checking it out!
