no objections to 23 june then 23 june it is :)

I'll edit title now and the first post later tonight.

I will book this day in with the track ASAP to ensure we have this spot, the deposit is $300 which I will probably put on my credit card and collect the $$ from people who are keen.

If we have 6 people it will be $100 each, or 10 people $60 each.
If there are not enough people from ClubCJ keen I will also be inviting other friends who may be keen, if you have a friend that would like to come they can also come.

Please book this day off (23rd June, Wednesday) from work if you have to.

Cheers
Graham

yeah i m game for this.... exams would have ended by then and its a week before i fly off to eastern states.... we should prioritise this for ccj members.... and get a confirmed attendee list early so we can fill up empty slots with mates if we dont get enough numbers from ccj.... have a mate with a golf tsi who might be keen.....

I agree, CCJ members have first priority.
Once I have 100% confirmed the booking for this date I'll send out a PM.

i am definitely still keen for this, but need to check my annual leave entitlements first.

i'll probably use up all my sick leave going into hospital next week, so may have to use any annual leave i have left as well - which will mean no day off for me :(

i'll let you know asap, and hopefully there will be a spot left. Can i bring someone with me as a spectator or do they have to pay as well?

Also need to check the cost of a crash helmet. Don't have one, never had one, anyone know cost and where is best to get one?

You can get 99 dollar specials, right up to 1500 dollar engineering masterpieces. My motorcycle helmet is a 400 dollar Arai helmet, and my dad has a 150 dollar open face helmet. However I'm pretty sure you need a full face one. Any motorcycle store should sell them. Make sure you shop around, prices differ a lot :)

You need a certain standard helmet though (it's like "ASNZ XXXX" or something), but I'm not sure what. Someone else can shed some light on it.

Oh and bat your eyelids and flash a bit of skin, might make the salesmen a bit more willing to give a discount.

Cheers for that Aaron :)

Think i'll stick to a special, or the cheapest full face one i can get away with just for this purpose. 1500 dollars? It'd want to be a feat of engineering! lol.
