Western Bulldogs = NAB Cup 2010 Winners and Favorites for the 2010 Premiership.

Collingwood win game 1 against Western Bulldogs by 36 points!!

So what do you say now?

What a difference a week makes in football!

They only just beat Melbourne by 1 point who are favourites for the wooden spoon.

True but that's what so attractive about footy vs something like EPL soccer.
Still 4 points for Collingwood. The results table still states Played 2, Won 2.
In life some weeks we struggle, some weeks we do well. Real Champions are able to produce even in the face of adversity. Actually, I'm happy they struggled against Melbourne. Look at what St. Kilda did to North! I think that should shock Collingwood into realising this isn't going to be a cakewalk and they have to fight to win every game. It was poor from the Pies this week but I'd rather some sense get shaken into them early and the Demons may well have done that.

Once again I cannot understand how Travis Cloke (read Choke) gets a game. He cannot kick to save his life.

Ofey what can we say.

8/8 two weeks in a row. Well done!

At this rate eating all these whoppers you will have to go on a diet at the end of the season

Thanks Troy. I think I've been lucky. No one could have guessed Collingwood would beat the doggies in week one except a Pie's man. In week 2, I came close to getting beat again. Ricky Pettard's drop in the square was inexplicable. It won't happen in week 3. I tip Collingwood regardless as the pain of them winning a game I tip against them may well be too much for me. So before Week3 is here, I'll start -1.

As for the whopper vouchers, here's the "far out" thing I do.
I've actually donated all my whopper vouchers to date.
I have a mate working at the local Hungry Jacks. He swaps it for cash when someone puts in an order for a whopper he basically takes money off them and pays using the voucher + they get some more handling fee from their HQ. So he gives me cash for the voucher.

I then put it into the McDonald's - Ronald McDonald House Charity collection point at every macca's counter.
It's not that I'm Pro Maccas. Simply cause Collingwood is sponsored by Maccas whilst the AFL is sponsored by Hungry Jacks.

My fav fast food is KFC. Not a fan of Hungry Jacks and McDs.

Reckon if I auction off the vouchers on ClubCJ, will anyone buy them? All proceeds back to the club naturally.

Andros: You were unlucky with the Bulldogs in Week 1.

But I was very surprised you got it wrong with Essendon this week. Nothing I saw in them in week 1 convinced me and I thought Freo were rather good in beating the Crows Week 1. IMHO, both Richo and Lloyd got their decisions wrong in retiring. They would have been an immense help for both Richmond and Essendon respectively.

Yes Tipping is very forgiving. Alot can change between now and 20 weeks remaining. 3 behind is nothing. I've found that so long as you're not > 7 behind, you're in with a chance! Being ranked 120th out of 305,993 tippers after 2 weeks is a really good feeling though. Wonder how the number 1 guy feels - All 16 right and a margin of 15!! WTF?

I wonder what happened to both Marsh and one other guy who signed up. Pity so few of us here bother with this... . It's free people and you got a chance of a free whopper guys!!

yeah and the beauty about tipping is that if you have luck , you dont need to know anything about it !! haha..

im pretty happy with my margin of 32 at the moment. I tipped Lions by 20 over the Blues, ended up being 19!!! only coz of a point a few seconds before the siren!

I spend perhaps a day or so tipping the whole season out. So even if I forget, there will be a tip in. Obviously if I remember, I tweak the selection.

I believe I have tipped 16/16 right.

It is some stupid teams that get it wrong.
