HTC Dream is out now.... Android phone.....

Looks very nice indeed, but a few less options available than the iPhone to use the sexy slide out k/b.... Big plus will be the apps for it. Being an open source linux driven OS, I'm sure they'll be plenty of apps for it in the near future.

I'm also looking at a new phone in the near future and am tossing up now between one of the HTC phones, or wait to hang out for the iPhone 2.1 expected in July some time - meant to be stronger, 32Gb, made from a single block of aluminum, and hopefully cheaper

A few workmates have the iPhone and I'm keen for one.... but I really worry about how strong they are. I have seen one dropped that scattered when it hit a slate floor, like it had been dipped in liquid nitrogen....
& SIR-VRX's finace cracked the front glass in hers after a small slip on the stairs during the cruise on the weekend, so fragile, to be sure....

There's a nice HTC coming out later this year the "G2" android phone, not sure what the HTC name will be for it. This one has no slide out keyboard though which is what I'm after, not keen for a slide out keyboard...


The HTC Dream I don't think is yet available officially on the Autralian market. pretty sure i read recently that its due out here soon though.

Dream is out at Optus Stores..... with similar iPhone deals

But I might wait for the new One... HTC Magic it's called.... Might wait for this one to come out.....

Yeah the Magic looks good but I dont think its due here until June at the earliest. Looks like a neat phone and I'll probably get it too Camera is a bit lacking but I dont really use my current camera in my nokia so meh, thats what I have an DSLR for

No.... definitely not.... I can't find the review I read today at work to give you the link, but it was it direct relation to whispers about the new iPhone update due out mid year....

That Porsche phone is yuck imo and will be way overpriced for what it is, and as it's designed by a bunch of ppl with an end game to 'design' as many things as they can to stick a Porsche logo onto.... no thanks....

I like it lol. Must be just me, but it looks friggin sweet. and all i need is one that looks good, i dont really care about which one can connect to broadband faster or which one has a touch screen or which one can operate a card counter on your mobile (search google: iphone blackjack card counter)
