Cheers

I suppose these do fit in the boot of the sportsback without the need for any boot modifications?

They will but you'd have to have the boot floor in its higher position. I do all the time anyway as I have the Mitsubishi boot liner in there, which requires the floor raised. I would keep the space saver on the off chance a load goes in the back that requires the floor down (never happened so far!).

Yep thats fine mate, I don't know what the cost would be like tho.
I've got 3 left now as I sold one Bandit yesterday.
Any takers? They are practically new!

Would they fit in the tire as a spare instead of the space saver?
Might be interested in a single

I'm not sure how it would work mate, it would be best to ask Bandit about how he plans to fit his wheel in.

Thanks Spewman - it's a good bit of gear for sure....
For guys wth sedans I think you would need to buy a kit from Mistubishi that raises the floor to fit the full sized spare in. I have seen a picture of it before, it looks like bits of foam that go under the floor to raise it. I have a Sportback which has two floor heights anyway, the higher of which will fit the full size spare in without any modification.

Full size spare in sedan.
You will need a longer bolt to secure wheel into wheel well. The bolt that works with the space-saver is not long enough for a full size spare.
For the floor you can DIY a floor using a piece of custom cut MDF. Due to the limitations of the width boot opening you won't get it perfectly fitting, but its close enough.
