ITEM: Evo X cams with JUN valve springs

PRICE AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS: $800

EXTRA INFO: ok so there has been a bit of discussion lately as to wheather these will work in a NA lancer. the simple answer is yes the long winded answer is you'll need upgraded springs along with retainers to install these in a es/vr/vrx/rx. included with these cams is both the stock springs and JUN springs along with everything else that came out of the engine when i put my JUN cams in. after speaking with both Ryan @ JustJDM and the lads at Mercury Motorsport we are confident that these will go into a NA lancer. Adrian (SIR-VRX) our chief guru suggested that different springs might be required to install this into an NA car which is why i am including the JUN springs.

1. What made you switch from Agency kit to the HKS?
2. Is everything included in the kit to have it ready to roll?

everything is included to rock and roll Jace. you use the clamps off the stock maf / airbox to install it. the reason why i switched over was because i got sick of hearing my bov going off all the time when i was doing hill climbs.

lol yeah i now have the HKS drop in with hard piping intake simply because its quieter than the Agency Power. like i said previously i got sick of hearing the whoosh everytime i stepped on and off the go pedal when driving hard.

hahaha yeah that'd work till i came to the first corner lol. the problem with the SST is that in s-sport its too good. you are always on that perfect power band. the moment you come out of a corner it up shifts, the moment you approach a corner it downshifts so in an event like a hill climb where there are corners a plenty you can imagine it going psht psht psht every 10 seconds. don't get me wrong for every day driving or track work i aboslutely love it and wish i was still running it most of the time but when you're setting up the car for gymkhana and hill climb type events where there is a lot of power on/ power off it gets to you after a while

Nah, Chris took Paul (Lethal_1) and Nathan (CatP, photographer) for a spin.

The looks on their faces when they returned was priceless!! I haven't seen Nathan smile so much and as for Paul, he is still grinning from ear to ear, 3 weeks later!!

Not quite as stock as it was, :D but from a performance point of view in a straight line then stock as brew.

Actually i wouldn't mind going for a spin in Adrian's VRX to see what your springs are like and then you can go for a spin in mine. I have given up asking Arutha for a spin in his, there is always something broken
