Drone restrictor?
Is that for the CVT drone and does it work?

Think they are just a cap that sits in the cannon, which changes the airflow to minimise the droning noise from the exhaust. Steve drives a ralliart too btw so he doesn't have CVT he has an SST...

its a 100mm long tube that sits inside the cannon

So the one with drone restrictor, would be ideal for CVT trans, and the one without, for manual?

i dont think the restrictor is for cvt drone josh, just exhaust drone.
i dont know what u mean by cvt drone, i`ve never been in a cvt car to hear it.
mind u, if the cvt drones through the exhaust it might help.

doesn't really drone... they just whine a bit lol... and it comes from the cvt itself not the exhaust so I really doubt the drone restrictor will help this at all.

Sorry I'm not too good with exhausts so I might sound stupid but, will one of these fit onto a Vrx? What is needed to put them on? If anything, and are they like a muffler? Do they make a good sound?

I'm fairly sure they can be made to fit onto your car. With regards to putting them on.. considering the picture, you gotta go to an exhaust shop to put them on for you. It'll pretty much be a bolt-on exhaust, meaning you can put it on and take it off if you want to change it.
Not sure how to answer the other two things, sorry.

they have to be welded on to your existing exhaust pipe by usually an exhaust shop, they replace the existing muffler but are not a muffler, they are a resonator, ie, no baffling in the centre pipe, this gives u a louder freer flowing exhaust.
