Brake drums

My Lancer ES has the disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. I love the discs better. I was thinking of adding some color to the calipers but was wondering if there was a way to spice up the drums in the rear. I know I can convert the drums to discs, atleast I think, but it would cost some nice money.

Any ideas?

All lancers in Australia have 'drum in disc' rear brakes ie they have discs, and small drums for the handbrake.

If you sourced some rear brake off an Australian lancer you could put those on...

Or source some brakes off one of your higher models.

Your other option is to look at the japanese Yahoo auctions, there are often parts for sale on there. It is in Japanese though. In Aus we have www.importmonster.com.au that translates and allows you to bid.

If you want, you can paint the drums, but that tends to look a little try hard if you paint anything other than black.

yeah just go find a wrecked one, or do a complete new brake upgrade
