1/2 limp mode

Not sure entirely what is going on. I had to get a new clutch installed in my 08 lancer es. When I got it back from the shop my car was in limp mode. They didn't say anything to me about this, unfortunately it was a straight transmission shop and not a mitsu dealership since clutch isn't under warranty. Anyway, I say it's a half limp mode because I'm not restricted to any specific gears, but I am unable to rev past like 3750 RPM. I also have a very erratic idle jumping and dropping. I already have a drop off time at the dealership which is 63 miles away . But have no idea what could have caused it. Any ideas?
