When did you last check your emergency spare tyre?

I pump my normal tyres every 2nd or 3rd fuel fill.
However, it just occured to me, I've had the car for a year and not once checked if my emergency spare is at the right pressure!
So just a reminder for all you, next time you fill up, check your emergency spare. No point in having it in the back if it's of no use to you in an emergency.
Yes, yes, road side assist, but sometimes it's quicker to change the tyre than wait around for a tow or the roadside assist guy.

Honestly though I'm surprised we don't get a spare tyre in the X. The space is still there so I'm guessing the only issue was the weight penalty :S

I checked mine this week...
I had a flat tyre, that's why i checked it
I have a space saver though, so regardless of pressure it's almost useless..

To those in Victoria
You wanna save some weight? Take out the spare
Your car must provide a spare, but under VicRoads roadworthy rules, you do not have to carry the spare
Anyway, full sized spare for me
So... I just keep mine deflated.
Saves weight
*yes sarcasm intended*

LOL, idiot!
You're gonna save so much weight without carrying around all that extra air around! hahaha.
