Strange noise after timing chain & oil pump replacement

Hey guys,
I had had my 2009 Lancer VR repaired with the new parts being (Timing chain, tensioner, guide & runner) & (Oil pump and its chain) as I had a failed oil pump. However after receiving the car back from the repairers I heard a strange noise after going down a small carpark ramp, took it back and it was decided that it was "normally wearing in as the timing chain is new and the cam sprockets are older", I thought nothing of it. That was on Monday this week and today I was driving into my driveway and noticed a horrible noise (youtube linked) and I was wondering if anyone has an understanding of whats wrong? It happens at low acceleration and low cruising around 20-30kms or as in the video going up a slightly slanted driveway with a very low touch of the throttle.
Hopefully someone knows the fix or issue!

That isn't a normal noise.Put it on a tow truck and send it back to the workshop. It may be a loose chain guide.Did they check the oil pressure after the repairs were done.Dont let them palm you off that noise is potentially serious. Don't drive it!

I am not sure! i will be taking it back tomorrow, they never said anything about oil pressures! I assumed once I heard the noise that it would have to be something that is moving!

If the oil pump was the initial failure there could be damage to the crankshaft and bearings also maybe damage to the camshafts where they run in the cylinder head. This is why they need to do an oil pressure check. My money is still on something not right in the timing chain area.

that noise is the belt tensioner is broken it happened in my son's lancer and we went crazy looking until we saw the belt vibrating the more it accelerates the harder it sounds

Well spotted I didn't think of that.Remove the drive belt and see if the noise goes away. Don't drive the car with the belt removed as the water pump won't be working. There was a belt tensioner recall a couple of years ago you may have missed out on it

**UPDATE**
Took the car back yesterday afternoon and they "looked" over the car and decided the timing was out, I also found out they broke the clip that holds the engine cover on which is also the air intake so thats another thing they ha to fixed. However back to the noise, I picked it up and drove it home and there was no noise but after a second drive its back! I seriously don't know what to do I've spent $2500 on it and yet only the oil pump and chain were fixed successfully!

You need to take it back to them again and demand to have it fixed.Did they have a look at the drive belt and tensioner?

I took it back again stating that when the noise is worse its coming from the cams, which to my ears it was. And after they looked at it with the noise in mind after hearing it (they hadn't heard it before since it only happens after the car goes over a speed bump of sharp driveway curb) and they reckon it's the camshaft sprockets. The reason being that they weren't getting oil when it was last driven, the night when the original failure occurred.

Well
Let's hope with the lack of oil no serious damage has occurred
