So thought I'd start this thread to see if others are doing anything to maintain their ride while many of us are staying at home and not going out every day.
Is there anything we should be doing, especially if we are self quarantining for 2 weeks.
I'm only going shopping when needed, when last Wednesday and today to get some shopping and prescriptions.

I just completed my first go at mild paint correction followed by a hand wax then some HCW from meguiars. Looks the business and since my car lives outside, has a bit more protection from the elements.

I disconnected my battery as I won't have a reason to drive the car until they relax the social gathering restriction. Will do a monthly voltage check and top up if required.

Your better off to leave the battery connect up
And take it for a bit of a drive st least once a week
Keep everything moving
Use the fuel up so it doesn't go stale

Doing what?
Putting plastic over the walls?
Forgetting to switch the lights off?
Leaving the outside windows closed?

If you are in isolation for the 14 days if you have Covid 19 there is zero need to leave the house
Australia Post have their delivery service you and running to drop off medicine needed to your house
Also Woolworths have their "basics box"
https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/page ... basics-boxThe federal government also has a link so you can register a self isolation certificate.
Google is your friend

Still debating about going shopping for the basics or doing online.
Not planning to disconnect my battery just in case we do need to go and get something, is Bunnings still open? I know they have home delivery but paint and timber can't get bought online currently.
Even things like mowing the lawn will need to be down less now the weather is cooling, did that today so good for 2 weeks at least.
@lancerdarryl - as long as you have the parts there could be worse ways to spend your down time.
Also I've go a near full tank, filled up last week and only been to the local shops twice.

Do as much shopping online as possible
To register for self isolation, there is an app from the federal government released a few days ago, oddly enough called coronavirus
Get it for apple or Android, install , the first page that comes up has register for self isolation.
Bunnings still open , they have stopped the sausage sizzle a few weeks ago Australia wide
For anyone in Queensland
https://www.qld.gov.au/health/condition ... quarantineIf you have C19 and in self quarantine and you leave the house to see people , shop etc, there is a $13000 yes thirteen thousand dollar fine waiting for you

I'll just bring the lancer straight over LancerDarryl, the old girl in dire need of a fresh lick of paint.

I live on a circuit street so I could just drive around the block until I get board or the neighbours call the police LOL
I've got about half a 8x4 sheet of ply but I've got a few things I'd like to build, just depends how long this actually drags on for, maybe Bunnings will add paint and timber to the items you can buy in coming weeks, just depends how much they charge for delivery?

Have a good look at the bushes on the rear end see if any are starting to crack and look like mine did
https://i.imgur.com/vZqZX9f.jpgIf they are , might be worth your while to start saving.up some $ to get it fixed
Got my bushes replacement done by Pedders suspension not too long ago, kept the OEM rubber ones

Well during the week my car sits under the car port and i only venture out when needed, have been working from home for the last 2 weeks now. Although when i was going into the work i would take the bus and only take the car out back and forward to the gym (less then a couple of kms) and to the shops. So pretty much doing the same sort of movement.
Weekends are my only chance to take her out for a decent 30min run to the missues house (my car not the missus hahaha). But that may soon stop as well if it starts to get worse here in SA...
