Interior light not working?

I've had a quick look and couldn't find anything on this, my interior light doesn't work (09 ES), the bulb was fine but i've put another one in anyway, the fuse was also fine but replaced that too, still no luck. Has anyone else had this issue or am i looking at something like a wire chewed by a mouse? (had that a few years ago with the fuel gauge wire)

Checked all doors have the same problem?
I'm not sure if a faulty switch on one door can stop all working.

Doesn't switch on for any of the doors, or even in the ON position either.

The bulb you put in.
Is it incandescent or led?
Led usually have polarity protection and if dont work turn it around the other way

Check that you have power at the light.
The light comes on when earthed either by a door or switch being put in on position.
I suspect you have led in the wrong way or fuse has blown

pull out the housing for the lights using a flat head scredriver and a bit of love, check if the connecting cables are all g
also good opt on the polarity^^^ i went through 3 LED bulbs EACH side before it finally dawned on me what was wrong. got the left first try, took me 4 attempts for the right lol

Derp, flipped the LED around, problem solved
Damn new fangled technology, would never have this trouble with a good old fashioned whale oil interior light!

Glad you got it sorted
To pop out the light assembly from the roof i avoid using screwdrivers as much as possible.
Use your fingers.
Press the roof liner upwards to expose more of the assembly and pull down on the assembly.
It is held in place with little metal type spring clip dudads. Nothing too tough
