My car (MY16 lancer) has 10300 kms now. I am told that my next service is at 15K or Feb. But I am planning to drive around ( Melbourne to Adelaide, Adelaide -> Hay -> Sydney -> Melbourne) during this December holiday. I heard that most of the people service their car every 10K so I wonder if I need to do the check or service before going for the holiday. I had a chat with the Mitsubishi dealer about the service when I went there for the CVT recall. They said I only need to do the service at 15K and shouldn't have any problem to drive interstate with 10Kms.
What do you guys think? Should I go to the dealer again and paid them to do the check/service before going for the holiday?

I'd only be concerned if you've had issues, being a relatively new car you should be fine!
