cleaning steering wheel

Postby azzmanthe » Mon Apr 20, 2015 11:50 am

This might be a stupid question but what does everyone use to clean the steering wheel on their RALLIART. My wheel is leather and I want to keep it nice . I have seen heaps of old cracked wheels.

Meguires gold class leather cleaner conditioner and I use it on the wheel, gear knob and boot, console lid and front door inserts. It's great and it doesn't leave the wheel all greasy provided you work it in well and after its done I give a light rub whith a microfibres cloth just to make sure it's grippy.

Hope this helps

My non RA is very smooth and harder than I thought it would be better some how, I do wonder if they used cheap leather to keep costs down?

Armor all. just be careful not to drive straight away as it gets slippery after using it. Gives a nice shine though.
