Flat battery?
Mine start to do wired stuff when the battery was flat. Replaced the battery and everything was fine after that

It might be something as silly as a loose ground or power connection; start by checking over any mods or additions you've done first...

If you've changed the head unit, pop it out and check 'stuff'

Have a poke around, wiggle things - trust me, it can be as simple as a single loose connection or short...

I have to say that happened to me about 2 weeks ago. I'd be driving along and all of a sudden it would say my boot was open. I'd stop and check but the boot was firmly closed. Could not find anything wrong either. It's back to normal now though

When installing the led tail lights did you attach the resistors? If you did were the splice connectors used. If you did make sure the insulation on the wiring harness is still intact.

yes i had to put the resistors in but had to put the stock tail lights back in as my car didnt like them but mits had to help with putting one of the stock tail lights back in as i had trouble taking one of the indicator globes out and the took the resistors out but that was back in july?

btw thanks for helping me guys :) so far

need further information.
Did this occur with the engine running?
what position is the key in when the fault occurs? or is it not even in the ignition?

With any electrical fault your first point is to check the battery condition\level\load\output and even clean the terminals and check leads.

There are lots of other electrical systems and they all require a minimum level of voltage and current. A lot of them do POST checks as soon as the key is put into ACC position.

If they don't receive enough juice from the battery then they start to do weird stuff. like your video.

it does happen when the engine is runing mainly

it can sometimes happen when it is on acc i have the smart key daniel so dont need the key in the ignition u have disconnected the battery for about 15mins and reconnceted it didnt do anything um the boot does pop sometimes by its self and i cant turn the hazards off untill everything stops flashing on the dash only does a few times then it is fine for the rest of the day like i said further up it has seemed to happen after a hot day few weeks back the interior lights come on and like u see in the video it saids all doors are open and so is the hood when they are not i have heard the lancers can send more then one message out if to get ur attention with somethings and it seems to happen everyday and say about 10mins after starting her sometimes or thin mintue u start her it veriys thats all that i can think atm

so if you cannot reproduce the fault consistently. and the fault comes and goes and you have 100% ruled out the battery (because the engine is running and the fault occurs it would be good to test the alternator too) then chances you have a cut or exposed wire making contact with another or ground.
This is can also include a connector plugged in the either incorrectly or not seated 100% or a bad connection splice from your after market lights.

I have also seen similar symptoms caused by faulty CAN bus alarm systems both factory and after market.

I would re-check all the work that was done to the vehicle.
check for voltage drops and increased resistance all along the work.
maybe even go as far as to re-do all of it otherwise you could put the original lights back in and see if that improves.

i have the stock ones back in as the LEDs back in july were causing to many issues could be something to do with the boot as generally it will pop when this happens? i am trying not to confusing
