Oil Symbol and Tachometer fluctuating

Hi everybody,

Just wondering if anyone can help me out or has experienced the problems I'm going through. So i've got two questions:

1) Last night i tried starting up my car and when i turned the dial the car won't start and on the HUD I'm getting an Oil symbol. Checked the oil, and its fine and I only just got the car serviced about 2 months ago. Could it just need a battery ?

2) Also lately I've noticed when I'm driving my car hasn't been very smooth lately. Sometimes when I'm cruising in traffic around 40-60km in 5th/6th gear I notice my revs fluctuating slightly and you see the needle bouncing up and down. Also when I put more pressure onto the accelerator I get a vibration and power doesn't seem to come and I swear i've noticed a grinding sound but I'm not sure.

Also not sure if this is related but sometimes when I'm accelerating the transmission shifts really quickly from 5th to 6th and the revs drop really quickly.

Nah I don't and I drive in Normal about 85% of the time.
