Okay, I am really sorry for the way this will be described but English being my second language I am not 100% sure on the actually words to describe this.

I got some work done on my car almost 4 weeks ago. Mostly body work but I did get a Short ram intake installed and I also got it lowered. Up until a few days ago the car was fine yesterday I noticed when I was driving that it was making almost like a rattling noise I thought that it must just be something that came lose a blot or something. But today as I was driving to the gym I had a closer listen and to me it almost sounds like water splashing around in a barrel...Weird I know so I had a look around the car but couldn't notice anything out of the ordinary...Any-who so I get home and turn the car off get out and all of a sudden I hear like a buzzing noise...Again looked under the car and looked around the engine checked the springs the intake nothing...For some reason I thought mmmm water splashing sounds I wonder if the fuel tank has anything to do with this...I go to open the fuel lid and it made a whooshing noise and you could smell the fuel evaporate and as soon as that happened the buzzing noise stopped. So it's almost like gas was building up in the fuel tank and it was causing some form of noise.

The car drives fine, it's not staling, the fuel use doesn't seem different and I didn't touch anything near that area...I looked up some sites and all I am getting is that it might be the fuel pump...But I am worried that the intake might have a role in this or am I being blond? Hope someone can help me...

I thought the fuel tank on nearly any modern car had baffles to stop fuel from slushing about that badly.

The whooshing sound is normal though.

Weird, I've never had the fuel splashing around noise but I always get the pressure release noise when I open the fuel cap. Our cars are naturally noisy. I drive around all the time with no back seat in and u hear so many more noises. I know exactly where my fuel pump is cos I can hear it.
