Performing oil change, quantity and location of sump plug?
If you see a blue lancer in Melbourne and it looks like a VRX, that'll be me!
Gday Tony
After you jack up your car and place stands under it,there is a splash tray you need to remove (4 bolts),then you will see a hex headed bolt (approx 17mm) towards the front of the engine on the sump
When you replace this plug you will need a new washer for the plug as well as 5 Litres of oil of your choice and a new filter
Pretty easy to do mate
Good luck - Chris.

The washers can be bought at any automotive shop.
They are just a cheap copper washer that squashes between the sump and the head of the bolt. They can be reused and normally do not leak afterwards.
It is safer to replace. They often come in those little packs with 3 washers in the pack. They are on the rotating stand with bolts, nuts, plastic clips etc.
