Thanks, I'll try that. Assume pressing it again turns it off, similar to the traction control button you need to hold to turn it off.
I think its set up this way and when some settings are changed the circulation changes.

When I get in my car and the temp reading in the multi display says I think near 30 degrees the A/C is automatically on recirculate till the temp in the cabin comes down sufficiently and it then turns off the recirculation.

Yes. But here I always set to re-circulate all the time.
So far it only went back to factory settings (outside air) when I replace the battery.
Back to enjoying the row-yourself-transmission after 20 years of auto.

Remember there is two different types of pollen filter for our Lancer
One has some extra rubber/ foam along one of the broad sides the other does not
No matter what you drive it should be replaced at least once a year. Check what yours is before you go buy one and measure it.
Go hunting on eBay they can be bought for as little as $15 and that includes freight to your door
