Tire noise under heavy braking? and vibrations at hwy speed

UPDATE and some more good news, Cricks will put in $180 per wheel for some new ones through JAX. That will go a long way to get something, might be the cheap end of the scale but as long as they don't vibrate at 110 I'll be happy. I can save up to get something better down the track.

New wheels, CSA Strada 18x7.5" JAX price is $215 each to pretty cheap but they look good and for the short test drive (in driving rain) I was able to get to 110 for a short time with no vibrations.

Seriously if Cricks had chucked some other wheels on the car when they had it for 4 days before Christmas they could have saved a lot of time and money just getting the wheels but at least now I have 4 new wheels and tires for just $140.

Glad to hear that the issue is now resolved.

It amazes me sometimes that service centers do not approach troubleshooting methodically and logically.
I wonder how much time they actually spent working on the vehicle.
could have saved them a fortune.

If that car was on the hoist for 4 days, then that's 4 days of that hoist not making money. so its either mismanagement or incompetence.
If they keep making mistakes like this in the future I'm sure they will go under.
