As topic , what do you guys think ?

Like it or hate it ?

Personally , i'm abit put off that they actually use back the old Iphone 4 shell. I was expecting an entirely new look to the phone

From a cheapskate iPhone 3G user: No sale.

I think apple copped out to be honest. Like the 3GS, they're merely doing a kind of facelift to the current 4 in the hope of milking a few dollars more out of the design.

I wouldn't jump on it especially if I had a iPhone 4.

Still there are many Mac zealots out there who will just jump on anything. so I guess Apple are just trying to earn whatever pennies they can.

Wait the 6 months and iPhone 5 will be out.

I hope this doesn't degenerate into a Android Vs iPhone discussion and no one then comes on and goes iPhone suxs, Android FTW.

It's not a about that.

And you won't appreciate an iPhone as much unless you already use a Mac daily.

yeh i was really expecting the 5 to come out with a new look. dont think ill be upgrading my 4. upgrades are too soft.

I have a dying 3G. I probably will go ahead and purchase a 4S, if not, a second-hand 4 might be better for my needs, just depends on how much i can grab a second hand iPhone 4 for.

look at the pattern.

3G-3GS-4-4GS-5.

they do these little updates each yeah, then the next one will be the 5.

my 3GS i just about 6 feet under, so i think ill be upgrading. but yeah, nothing to go apeshit over that's for sure.

I'm happy with my I phone 4 for now,no need to update for a few years yet.

Apple way to boost up their sell = Pure Profit $_$

yeah , i'm sure you can see a trend of most Iphone 4 users not upgrading to the 4S as there's really nothing big to look forward to.

As for the 3G/3GS users , this will be a major upgrade. I have a 3GS and it's slowly dying on me , headphone socket having problems and touchscreen is slightly off. I'm pretty impressed with how the 3GS is holding up , considering the amount of abuse it has gone through.

I'd most likely be getting the 4GS on a plan but won't be entirely satisfy with the purchase. Looks is fairly important and it looks just like an iphone 4

Like it or hate it? A bit of both I'd say.

No wonder Steve Jobs left before this epic fail launch happened.

It seems that everyone has a similar opinion, not worth the upgrade from an Iphone 4, and seriously, they couldve lightened up that launch a bit, it was bit dull, and secondly, the huge deal about the voice recog thing, how would it look if you are seen having an animated conversation with your mobile phone? Having said that, it is slightly impressive to me though!

I have around 18months before I'm out of contract, so won't be until then I'll consider upgrading to the next model.

I had a 3G and loved it for the majority of my 2yr contract but hated it towards the end. In June I upgraded to the Sony Xperia Arc and will happily never get an iPhone again. Android is far less locked down

since im about 1 year to go on my current contract, i will most likely to skit this one. Im mean my 4 is fast enough so the duel core A5 is kinda pointless for me, and how sad would you look to be having a conversation with your phone lol. "who are you?" "Im a humble personal assistant. hahaha

I got a 3GS in February. I could have had that or the 4 or a Samsung GalaxyII but they were an extra $20 a month on top of my plan. The cap was enough itself for me so I just got the old iPhone. To be honest I love it. It's changed my life.

My kids have got the Samsung Galaxy II and they reckon it's brilliant. I had Samsungs for years but they used to start falling apart 6 months before the contract was finished. We'll see how they go.

By the time I need to upgrade the iPhone 6 will probably be out.

I'm not doing this as an 'apple sucks' post but so many of you have dying 3's and 3GS's and are going to buy another iPhone?
Doesn't anybody shop around anymore?

So many people's main buying pattern is 'should I get the latest iPhone or wait till the next one' rather than 'is it time to upgrade and if so, what phone/brand is best for me?'.


Maybe the best phone for you is x iPhone but lots of people don't even think about it before they decide that... Always confuses me...
