I have internet streaming to tickle my fancy. Usually dnb, sometimes I like it hardstyle, other times breaks, or old school techno from the 90s... ultrasonic anyone? (gawd i feel old, now I'll shut up).

I've got a dedicated android device for the car, plugged into the RCA sockets. I buy $150 credit (12GB/365 day expiry) NextG prepaid broadband plan (as that's all the Samsung tablet does - no calls) and use that. I have 1 year to use it all and if I forget to turn off the device, well i dont get any large bills, i just chew up my credit (and kick myself) - also have 1.5 Gig on my monthly phone as backup which is with optus. so i'm never out of data....

Bear in mind that most DJs and stuff are simply spinning other peoples music.
If we talk about individual artistes who write and perform their own music, for driving, I have a suggestion:
For you people who like trancy beats and rhythms, go get some Chicane.
All his tracks sound like they were written by someone with a driving heart... .
If you read his bio off his home page:
Best driving music ever.

Best driving music ever.

Mainly downloaded D&B shows, from Bassdrive
Their archive shows section is awesome, with particular likes being
'Eastside Sessions' and 'Just on Track' on Thursdays (new music, excellent sound quality) and 'The Kromatic Show' on Monday for more laid back beats - the chat on all 3 is pretty amusing
Nowt like 6 hrs music/week for nowt for the long commute
