Well I was having a small fight with a chick in the back seat tonight as to whether to have the window down or not (to clarify - I was driving, 4 mates in the car, she was in the back seat) and she kept putting it down and i kept putting it up until i gave up. anyway, once it was down for about 5 seconds theres this really loud 'chupchupchupchup' noise and I was like woah and closed it straight away, but no one could figure out what it was. Ive never heard it before, I just installed the VRX air dams but surely its not to do with that?

Open your driver side window just a little bit, it should make the noise a little more bearable.

You mean if someone in the backseat opens their window, open yours? Yeah the reason I was closing it was the A/C lol.

But Im interested in knowing what the noise actually IS.

Nah.... that's the Lancer 'Chopper Noise' bonus feature with the rear windows.....

I recall it commented about by many either here or over at MCA...

Just a weird airflow thing that makes the air 'chupchupchup' around the back windows.... LOL
