I know its a touchy subject for some members but I may have some useful info.

As you know we all get welcome packs with the new car. However since getting my new car back in June no welcome pack has arrived for this one (we're supposed to get it within 60 days of taking delivery).

I rang Mitsubishi to ask why I have not received a welcome pack for my new car (at 90 days after delivery). They informed me that unless I received a welcome phone call from Mitsubishi the pack does not get sent out. So within 30mins of making this call and telling them I didn't get that welcome call, I got the missing welcome call.

So the story goes, until you get this call from Mitsubishi then and only then do they register you for a Welcome Pack.

Maybe this explains why some members got them and some didn't.

I don't see why people would be that upset, its not like there is anything good in the pack, just a picture frame, i few key rings, a microfibre cloth and an "adventure" book, its not like a free tank of petrol or anything

They know who they are

I bought 2 cars 1 in October 09 and another 1 in December 09 and i have not recived a phone call or a welcome pack

I just felt left out. I wonder if I rang them on the 3 year anniversary I would still get one. It's okay, I'll wait till I get a new car & then I'll know what to do

I got my MITSUBISHI welcome pack in the mail today after having the car for 8 months

Lucky for you they did not deliver it next week.

Well I have just found out that those of us who were the original purchasers of the car didn't get a welcome pack. It didn't come in till April 2008!!!! Mitsubishi rang my husband & he asked where my welcome pack was. Today they rang back & told him the news. Well thanks Mitsu!! I love my car & I know that the WP isn't worth it but that's not the point

i didn't even know they had welcome packs! but i did recieve a phone call about 2 weeks after the purchase of the vehicle. the lady was actually very rude when i asked to update my phone number. maybe im just extra critical as i used to do welcome calls for ford
