Well - having now graduated, I got an offer from Bond University today...Bond was my first pref, to do BLaw.I'm just wondering what you're opinions are on whether I should accept or not (I've accepted conditionally for now).I've still got no replies from JCU (Cairns), QUT or UQ, or Griffith. I'm wondering whether to wait for them. There's a hundred things to consider - employment prospects, price, living costs (more in Bris cos I alredy live in Cairns lol), easiness (for want of a better word, chances of graduating higher in the class)...more more and more...Just if you know anything about aussie uni's, or you can parallel your own uni experiences, dial down ur opinions..

It's been a while since I finished university - but decisions for me were pretty easy as the course I did was only available at two unis at the time - NSW at Randwick and New England in Armidale, so I chose to stay in Sydney.
Living is an important part of uni - so if you want to try new things and meet new people, then reach out - but man does it cost.... You'd need to find a job as well just to pay bills while you study, meaning there's less time to work the books and socialise.
I am thinking about doing a Masters next year... lots of things to consider though, not least the cost - about $15,000....

Josh...
Bond Uni is a well respected Uni, and I'm sure the BLaw course there would be excellent.... and more expensive.... Plus, You'll be living on the Gold Coast which (imo) will be a bad idea..... even more $$ to spend on rent etc...
I used to work at Griffith in their AV Dept. and I know their Law Faculty is excellent, so I'd be suggesting them instead - no bias... lol
Based at their Nathan Campus, it's on the Southside of Brisbane.... so cheaper rents in comparison, and easy access to both Brisbane City, GC, and up to Sunshine Coast, if need be too....
If you;'re at the GC, then there's really just the GC to deal with - unless you want to belt down to Byron every now and then (nice drive)

Hmm I think I took the Griffith option off to make room for BBus @ QUT actually, because the Griffith was a dual degree or nothing kinda thing.
And the BBus was me hoping to get into that coz it was easier, maintain a high GPA and then transfer to Law.

Update: Looks like I'll be accepting Bond.OP's came in today, legs eleven for me. Which means the only other offer I can possibly get is the Law course @ JCU Cairns. So whos up for organising a Bris/Gold Coast cruise?

anywhere in the Gold Coast area is good. Why? Cause Gold Coast Blondes are just that much hotter!
