... what will it be? (no repeat answers as much as possible please)

Me, I won't issue licences to those who can't park properly.

They should change the rules for licencing for younger drivers. Ie, let tadz get his licence then change it back.

Nah, but when licence testing, they should do highway testing aswell, not just some backstreets n stuff.

Scrap P-Plates altogether. Just make the test harder. Its piss-easy in Queeensland.

Tadz, whats hard about a highway?

Nothing about the highway, simply about the merging. Nobody can merge properly onto a freeway. Cept me of course =)

Don't charge an annual fee for numberplates. For example... don't charge $440 a year to have a custom numberplate.... then I could have LZYEYE LMAO

Stop making dick laws that would completely screw the aftermarket industry over (i know latest one got rejected but they still tried people)

Amen to that Peanut!!! Rules just make life difficult for the honest folk.

SIR-VRX - I love QLD... to visit :P If circumstances were different, I would consider it.

The other thing I would like changed is the way fuel is taxed. It is a rort at the moment!!

Sorry to say this, but like for young or inexperienced motorcyclists, I would love to see the introduction of power-to-weight ratios for newly licenced drivers (age irrelevant). I think they should not be able to get 6.0ltr V8s, EVOs, Ralliarts or WRX etc...

You may cry heresy, but my first car (in 1987) was a '71 Statesman with a 383 small-block Chev and 2000cfm worth of twin Predator carbies (500hp shouldn't be given to a 17 year old...)

Just my 2c

In NSW, a P Plater cannot drive any car that is turboed or high output etc. I think there are some loopholes if it is the only car in the family etc, but otherwise it is illegal.

Wow, really, cause I spend all day in Toowoomba driving amongst the biggest gaggle of these turkeys... so many P-platers with BOVs going every which way... must be 4 billion Skylines up here!

One can only hope the law really tightens that up!

At the end of the day a law is nothing without it being enforced, or maybe the BOV's are fake lol

nah, these are truly turbo Skylines... and worse thing, is that these are imported and sold so cheaply, that these young fellas are all over them like a fat kid on a cupcake!

I think they should get rid of those stupid computer tests for green and full licence tests and make harder practical exams as you progress. Or a practical exam every few years to renew your licence. Also, I think there should be an advanced driving type exam which you must pass in the vehicle you will be driving. More cops on the road wouldn’t hurt either, I mean the ones that actually do something and not just laugh.

I could make a list of things I would change all day.

My number one would be to make a law where you must leave a space of 10m or more between you and the car in front. I know a similar law exists but it is not enforced in anyway. If you have a look at the safety ratings on cars they did not include rear impacts until recently and that does not count towards much. Often rear enders cause more damage at lower speeds to the person being hit then front-on’s.
