Who did he get the car through? Because there are some really really dodgy dealerships out there. Motor Finance Wizard are the worst ever..... thankfully I have never had to deal with them...

Please make clear what the issue is.

Did he buy a ten year old car second hand?

Did it come with a statuatory/extended warranty?

How long between the breakdowns?

Ok basically from what I know he brought it new and this is the first time he is having issues. I'm not sure which dealer he got it from or which dealer he is having the issues with. I have questioned him about the warranty and he states they have clearly broken the warranty. That's all the details I know....I didn't want to get to evolved with it. He just wanted to know who he could go to and I wasn't sure either and I said I would ask on the forum.

I told him tonight to tell them if they don't honor the warranty that you will put a complaint in to fair trading and see if they do anything and if they don't then put the complaint in.
