Correct adrian, we have no speed restriction other than the speed limit of the roads lol. We just have the restriction of high powered vechiles such as V8's, turbo and high powered 6cyl and any turbo car for that matter. Unless its a diesel then there is an exception

I wish that was the case in NSW so there wasnt P Platers doing 80 on the freeway stuffing up the traffic flow!!

And yes, you are right as well - no high powered V6, no V8+... no turbochargers OR superchargers of any sort.... Which includes crappy little ones used on Merc C180K etc. UNLESS PERMIT (WHICH HAS TO BE APPROVED BY VICROADS THEN PAID FOR - ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!) has been granted. Also, Turbo Diesel is acceptable

Such stupid laws.... a Commodore or XR6 driver (standard V6) is legal but a Colt Ralliart (115kW?) is off limits....

As for the epic fail P plate driver, stupid hoon... get off our roads, should never be allowed to drive again until he's 35+! Seriously, makes a bad rep for all us P platers...

ha ha, dont get me wrong! i was a P plater once, and unfortunately i was a hoon... well not your typical hoon, more like open speed limits on the old stuart higway in Darwin type hoon! man those were the days... and ironically more people are dying because of fatigue due to the extra time it takes to make the trip....

again governments trying to get as much money as possible while trying to convince the voters its really for thier safety....

The licence should be revoked and make him start from Ls again. This prick doesn't deserve to drive, very irresponsible and potentially dangerous.
