what looks better in a 2008 lancer, a touch screen deck, or a folding out touch screen deck

Well if your planning a SatNav or something - just chuck it in the tissue box holder hahaha
Otherwise...Probably most electrical or auto-electrical stores would be able to help you out with a custom job. getting one to slide out like a cd and then flip upright would be pretty damn cool. although as Cat mentioned - more breakable haha

I got my GTS because I like the Rockford Fosgate system with the touch screen, music server, and all of the features of the MMCS, but if you want to upgrade to something different, then I'd say go for a double din touch screen. Less breakable, and you don't have to wait for it to fold out when you want to use it.
I'm sure you could make a custom cover for it so it wouldn't be seen, but most theives would realize that there is probably something worth stealing behind the cover. If it looks like a blank dash or if it's obvious that it's a cover, then that might be worse than leaving it in plain view.
I've only had one car broken into before, and they couldn't get the stereo out, but they took the faceplate. lol
I'm glad I have an alram system now and that the blinking light is below the screen!
