Re: What did you do today?
Actually a few days ago. Fitted top quality, sheepskin front seat covers to my car
lSuperCheap price Platinum covers $419. I got the last of old stock, which actually
are the same as the current item with a couple of added extras for $161.
They look and feel great, she who must be obeyed, claims, terrific, feels like a lounge chair.
Appearance wise, suites this geriatric delinquent. Pockets front and rear in both

Re: What did you do today?
What have I done today... well nothing yet, just had some French Toast because if Sunday and bloody cold outside.
Might look at starting repairs to my bumper after this...
I've taken the metal bumper guard off, not sure if it can be fixed but I think it saved the bumper from more serious damage. Right now unless you get close you'd have a hard time seeing the damage. Also removed the lower bit with the reflectors on it (covering the tow bar hole) and painting it.
As for the mark in the bumper its self I'll rub it back, fill it and hit is with some matching black paint when I get all the bits needed next week.
One none CJ job I need to do today is cut the grass, not done it in ages but its looking a bit rough around the edges and its one way to warm up in the QLD mid winter sun!

Re: What did you do today?
Not boring or exciting, just sad! received payment for my car which was written off, when car on my left at a roundabout
decided not to give way. Shook me up badly, so have decided to give up driving!!!!! Certainly for now anyway at age 84.
Have purchased a mobility Scooter, Hurricane Grand. Still on four wheels, sounds awesome! Wow max speed on foot paths
10kph. Judgment made by driving scooter on both, if you feel roads are rough, believe me they are silky smooth in
comparison to foot paths!!
Will still keep in touch. By the way left most extras on the car as price received left me about a couple of grand down on purchase price
Still have a few things left. ie:- original snorkel, 2.4ltr exhaust manifold, Grey Platinum quality sheepskin front seat covers
as brand new,and a heap of sound proofing material. I'm based in Melbourne, pick up only
Preferably contact me by PM as we don't want an auction in our forums. Except for seat covers, need to be reasonable, others, offers above nothing considered.
PS include a phone number if you wish and I'll get back top you.

Re: What did you do today?
Bump for those who are interested, I ended up installing my front strut brace at 12am today because I was so damn eager to find the difference, man is it noticeable, the front dives in so much easier when you push it, now my back is wagging out xD

Re: What did you do today?
Took my Hurricane Grand to the local shopping centre, at top footpath speed, a full 1km at 10kph.
Stopped all the cars at pedestrian lights to cross the road, sorry guys!
I really miss my car! Oh well my decision, been told I'm over reacting. Well so be it!!!
