VIC is the best for personalised plates honestly.

For the plates I wanted when I moved - $495.
Same combination in QLD - $2,395

What I'm now hoping to do is use the plates of my old Lancer on the CJ, need to do some changes to the rego details then get them turned into classic slim B&W plates. The plates aren't personalized but I like the number and have had them for some 20 years and before time ran out I paid QLD transport to keep them.

Hope to do it in the next few weeks.

I recently got some personalise plates I got the basic plates. And I am so
Happy with mine and they look good and stand out a lot on the car I get asked a lot from others about them. And they think they are the top of the line plates. The resen for people thinking that is the combination and style of my plate. They are in black back ground with gold letters and numbers in the slim style the combination is ( 1 VRX 1 ) it's a new style here in QLD and looks good.

If I had $500 spare lying around I'd go for VRX125, think about it.

Went and ordered some today, pictures to follow when they arrive. But basically I paid the $165 to get my stock plates turned into slimline B&W ones.

Annoyingly I had to surrender one of the existing plates, so right now the front of my CJ looks a bit naked without it and it's 100% legal!

Wondering if I'll get pulled over in the next week or so?
