I heard from the assessor today, he said it can be repaired.

then spoke to the repairer and was told will get it back on the21st of this month.

so just have to wait now

that is good to hear mate before pick up check the car over makesure it is all good mate and check interior for any damages

@redfox, the police and other people have informed me that this type of collision happens quite often, and are in the process of trying to get traffics to replace the roundabout

@sleeper, RACQ, hopefully it'll be a good repair, or, it's going back.

roundabout has multiple lanes merging into 1 on the actual roundabout, so when a car is on the roundabout start in one land and don't realise they need to indicate to goto the 2nd lane and creates a blind spot due to the road has a bend as it reaches the entry point of the roundabout

Hey all, got the car back now, and they di a great job on it.

They replaced about 70% of the front end, Bonnet, Bumper, both grills, and a lot of the internals.

Only thing now is the aircon is not working as it should, fans will go, but, the aircon itself will not turn on until i move the connection near the front bumper where it was hit. The auto electrician looked and cannot see any physical damage, but, is still going to get a new one for me, if still no luck I will have to goto Mitzu and get them to fix it.

If any one knows much about the aircon, would love your input.

And on an unrelated note, due to the accident, I had to use alot of pain killers, and there was a random drug test at work, and I tested positive, man did I freak.... the lab guy then informed me that if you are on any codine based painkiller, there is a high risk of testing positive!!!!!

Note to self, do more research on pain relief!!!!

awwww,
i can feel ur pain. 3 weeks ago my lancer got his aswell asian lady lost control and banged in to my car. now its in the garage waiting for her insurance to decide. when ever i see my lancer makes me feel bad botu not having a insurance. even tho i had plan to get full insurance on monday but too late got hit on friday night
