Servicing with Mitsubishi
Moderators: Moderators, Senior Moderators
Well I hate mitsubishi servicing. I reset my boost controller before I went in for the service (as my boost controller records the highest level of boost I reach), and when i got the car back they had belted my car up to 25psi!!! And they weren't even supposed to be driving it!!! I never go back to them, I get my servicing done in Brisbane at a Evo Specialist workshop...
I'm back baby!

Did you question them after finding this?
Yes, but they said they had to drive the car to see if everything was okay with it... And they informed me that only the dealership owner principal is allowed to drive the performance cars/ evo's. And they were supposed to give me a loan car, which i booked. And they never did. They are hopeless... They also said I was at fault for setting my boost controller that high... And that the Evo can't handle 25psi... So I don't think they know much about the cars they sell or service...
I'm back baby!

if you can't read it here it is in text:
4 Year or 60,000km Scheduled Servicing (which ever occurs first).
New vehicle purchases only. Excluding Government and Rental Fleet purchases.
Terms and conditions apply. See your dealer for details and eligibility.
Still doesn't give a clear indication of a time period that the car has to be bought within.
well, considering the ad has only been running since the start of the fixed price servicing began (dec/jan) and it specifies NEW PURCHASES ONLY, that automatically means cars purchased after the deal started, no? But then on another level they say Terms and conditions apply and to see your dealer. which then points you to the brochure at the dealer which further states new MY10/11 cars purchasesd after dec 2009.
suck it up like we MY08/09 owners have had to. else go to a mechanic like i do.

I've already stated that I've accepted that my car doesnt fall into the capped priced servicing, but still, excuse me for believing my car fell into this capped price service scheme as I purchased the car in Oct 09, fairly close to the starting of the commercial. =='
You can claim all this information is stated by the ad, but in reality, it isn't as clear as it needs to be. A date should be shown!

I understand I'm outside the time period, I'm just annoyed I wasnt told until I was at the dealership
this thread is going in circles ><
Na, its already said in the ad to refer to the T&Cs. Better than some otehr places like Hungry jacks which advertises Angry Fries for $1 with any purchase. Not even and * to say refer to store for more details. You can really only buy those $1 fries with a MEAL and it REPLACES your normal fries. LIES!~
