vortex generator

Postby markanthony » Sun Apr 25, 2010 9:09 pm

Had a cruise to bathurst with the boy today and on the way there the vortex generator flew off!!

We added an extra strip of double sided tape and it still it managed to blow off.

Anyone have any suggestions on what should have been done to prevent this from happening?

Need to use Sikaflex. Also a cutback polish is a good idea to allow the tape and sikaflex to attach to the paint rather than polish.
