Decent sized carpark at the uni which wont be used on weekends and a short stroll from the main street of Mawson Lakes![/quote:43db5d8f4e] Wow Google Maps has some old satellite pictures. That car park has has a building in it for the past year so theres none of that car park left.[/quote:02dc5007a4] Are you coming down to Mawson Lakes too Todd?

Yep I'll come down to Mawson & enjoy the lovely trip back to the Barossa.

Btw if you all decide to go back via Birdwood and want a place to take some pictures can I suggest the lookout on the Mount Pleasant-Angaston Rd. It's a dirt road but it's got a great view of the surrounding fields and hills and is a lot less busy then Manglers Hill + there's not the annoying wall there either.

It's not normally too bad if you go slow. There's not normally any pot holes or anything, it's usually quite smooth, just can be a bit of dust. I'm planning to go see what condition the road is in later.

I believe the Mt Pleasant lookout is on a dirt road too, dirt roads don't worry me so much, just take in a little slower than tarmac and don't follow each other too closely either!

You can go via Mt Pleasant back to Adelaide anyways, it really depends on what and where you want to see and go!

Otherwise you have the option of going the other way and doing Kapunda, Greenock and Freeling and then back via Gawler, really depends on what you want to see! :)
