QLD - 17/09/11 - Photoshoot mini-meet - 7pm

Hey Everyone,

As per request and interest, I wouldnt mind getting together for a night time photoshoot.
At this stage, its more so to see, how many would come along, get ideas for locations etc etc

More than likely, this will be held on a Friday/Saturday night. Anyone that has a camera or loves being behind the lens is also welcome to come and take photos or help out.

Sooo let the discussion begin ^^

***1st Location for Photoshoot: DFO Brisbane Car park @ 7:00PM Saturday.***

Went out last night to DFO. Ok, so the meeting location at DFO will be the first car park as you enter DFO. This requires you to turn right at the first round about. From there, we will then go around to different spots.

Ok, so members list of attending for the 17th of Sept. is as follows:

Now, as mentioned, I will spend about 30 minutes for each car. So with a starting time of 7:30PM, we should be finishing up the shoot at 11:00PM.

Please bring warm clothing, jumpers, wind breakers, hoodies, beanies, w/e you need to keep yourself warm. Warm beverages in a flask might also be a good idea.

Yeah, so obviously there is quite an interest for this and by the sounds of things, Saturday would be best.

So at this stage, we have 6 cars for the night, if anymore want to come, I would suggest breaking this up into smaller groups (of 5-6), that way each car gets more attention.

As for locations, I like the ideas that have been suggested, keep them coming. With the Chermside Upper Car park, do you know if they close that off during the night Steve? Also will have to ask for permission but thats no biggie. Might check it out this weekend as I havent been there before.

I would defiantly be keen to come along, I have used the chermside car park roof before with out any problems. I would offer my works car park in brendale but the cops hit the industial area pretty hard at night cause of all the hoons so im pretty sure it wouldnt last long

dunno ferdi, i can check it out for lighting ect, it services the megaplex so it wont be shut early but i can check that out too.
its very BIG and open at the opposite end to the hamilton road upramp

anyone got any trick 12v lighting? other than headlights? heh.
