Logbook Service - Brisbane?

Postby MaltSTi » Mon Apr 18, 2011 8:14 am

Hey guys

I was wondering, Im due for a service (Well, over due...) and I wanted to know where the best place to get my vrx serviced would be?

Does it have to be somewhere specific to do the service keeping the warranty? and also for them to be able to reset the computer?

I think its best to keep service to a mitsubishi dealer for warranty purposes. But choose and supply your own oil and filters. Fixed price servicing ($125). Zupps MtGravatt are great but i live on the Northside so to far for me. But had some issues when i first bought my RA from them and there service department was excellent. I use Morayfield Mitsubishi (Keystar) now who are also great and had experience with them with 4 other cars (Company Cars). My RA is now due for its first oil change and will be taking it to Keystar. All other issues were first service (1000km) and aircon issues (warranty).
You can use other service agents (eg: Ultratune) that legally wont effect your warranty but Mitsu and any other manufacturers dont like you using for obvious reasons so i stay safe and use Mitsubishi and with Fixed price servicing why not? Just my opinion anyway.
With computer reset did you mean service interval display?

You dont need any equipment to reset the service date. It is all done by pressing the the info button with the ignition turned off.

There is a how to on the site some where.
