what if instead of Kiama we went to north Wollongong, coz we could get good photos near the lighthouse, and there is public bbqs around, and its not as far as Kiama

Im going for a drive down to wisemans ferry, colo and galston gorge rd to have a look at some meeting points tonight...north wollongong sounds good. Might go for a drive there next weekend to have a look (anyone is welcome to join me).

I'd love a cruise down to the 'Gong. Anywhere there is so relaxed, plenty of free parking at beaches, much lighter traffic, better people, etc. so much more enjoyable than trying to head to any one of Sydney's beaches.

From Thirroul to Fairy Meadows - or anywhere along north of Wollongong the beaches have plenty of parking, white sands to enjoy and grassed areas for BBQs.
