Was playing around with what setting I have on my camera (not much) and they came out ok I thought...
Jamez took some on his DSLR so hopefully they get posted here soon!

Go DSLR-like. Thats what i have and it does the job nicely. Especially if you want to take pictures that hurt your neck

I have a DSLR. You can get them fairly cheeply, it just depends what you want.
Mine cost me $1500 when I got it but it's quite a few years old now maxes out at 8 megapixel and you can get 10+ for $800 - $900 and upwards now. I'm actually half considering upgrading mine at the moment.

Yeah but the trouble is, I want to jump up mid-range straight away, to avoid buying a cheapo one now, then a better one in the future.
I really want a Canon 5D
but the new 7D is more my budget (if I had one LOL)

Yeah, good point. Teds are selling the 7D for up around 2.5k body only.
My Pentax is around 5 years old... hence why I'm in part considering an upgrade.
